Annually, Associate members of the Society who have satisfied the criteria set out in the Rules and By-laws of the Society will be invited by the College of Peer Review to apply for advancement to Fellow membership. To be eligible an Associate must have been a contributing member of the Society for at least five years and have obtained at least ten points of awards and accolades within a period of two years. Invited applicants will need to submit an application form and requisite materials which comply with the Guidelines for nomination.
A panel of the College will be appointed to assess the application and the College will make the final decision. Successful applicants will be awarded a Fellowship Diploma at the AGM and be entitled to use the post nominal FRSASA during their period of membership of the Society. Fellows (FRSASA) is an internationally recognised standing of accomplished artists in their own right. In addition new Fellows will be granted the opportunity to exhibit a sample of their works in the Gallery.
Fellows have a responsibility to participate in the operation of the Society through membership of the Council and committees. Only Fellows are eligible for election to key positions on Council and within the Society.
