Farahnaz Majelan is a South Australian artist of Persian origin who migrated to Australia with her family in 2012.
After receiving a Diploma from a private art and music school in 2000, she started her career as an art teacher in a private institute. In 2008 she achieved her Bachelor of Visual Arts and then her Masters in 2012 from Azad University in Iran.
In 2016 and 2017 her artwork was selected as a finalist in the Contemporary Art Prize at Gallery M. She joined the Royal South Australian Society of Arts in 2016 as has contributed to many members’ exhibitions and has received 3 Awards of Merit. Farahnaz has exhibited her artworks in Iran and Adelaide and has received many prizes and awards for her work.
