The RSASA Portrait Prize is a biennial event generously supported by the Kennedy Arts Foundation for providing the First Prize, the M & M Carbins Trust, which supports young artists and also to other sponsors. The 6th RSASA Portrait Prize 2024 had a specific focus on painting in oil, acrylic and water-colour and was open to artists from across Australia. This year’s exhibition showcased the diversity of portraiture the 44 artists have used when creating the 66 works on show.
