Established in 1856, we are Australia’s oldest art society. RSASA represents South Australian artists, presenting about a dozen exhibitions a year in our historic gallery in the Institute Building on North Terrace, Adelaide.

Opening Hours:

Mon – Fri 10:30 – 3:30pm, Sat & Sun 1 – 4:00pm, (closed public holidays) Office open Tues & Thurs

The Royal South Australian Society of Arts (RSASA) is Incorporated in South Australia as Association 135. RSASA is Registered with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission (ACNC) with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. ABN 18 504 345 871.

The objectives of the Society are the advancement of art and artists in South Australia by the provision of services to members and the public. Donations to RSASA are tax-deductible.
