This competition is on the theme of climate change, nature and the environment, expressed through landscapes, seascapes, wild flora or fauna or environmentally aware people or thought-provoking images.
This exhibition gives the artist the opportunity to communicate their concern for the environment. Winners receive discounts on products which help the artist reduce their carbon footprint, eg. Solar Products. Entries have been received from all over the state.
Total Prize value $44,000.
The artwork is presented anonymously for both selecting and judging. Each year there are different judges who are qualified artists, gallery directors and art lecturers.

The Gallery visitors to the Exhibition are also invited to choose their favourite piece, for the Peoples Choice which will be presented on the last day of the Exhibition (Sun 20 April).
Each year this Exhibition is visited by over a thousand people including many overseas tourists.
