After studies of Advanced Art/Craft Certificate Course at TAFE and later completing further studies at SACAE and UniSA eventually majoring in Printmaking. I continue to learn from fellow artists, and enjoy being creative.
Having always been interested in textiles from a young age, my main area is now that of “weaving”, handwoven items projecting the use of colours, patterns, texture and teaching others this addictive medium with many projects on the go.
My involvement in organisations includes the RSASA (1996 – Past Pres, Director), Textile Arts Collective (2003 -), The Handspinners & Weavers Guild of SA (1976 – Past Pres), and Patron of the Henley & Grange Art Society.
Being involved in such organisations inspires me to create even more in my various artwork mediums, collages, photography, printmaking, weaving, handmade books and making paper. Learning continues in life and realizing all the more creative ventures one can undertake. Life is inspiring. My camera is always with me and so is my Kumihimo braiding.
