A collaborative exhibition between the Royal South Australian Society of the Arts and the Pioneers Association of South Australia.
Inspiration drawn from pioneer poster biographies written by the Pioneers Association has resulted in artists from the RSASA creating works of art bringing to life the stories of our early settlers and the extraordinary challenges and changes they faced. Their stories may not appear in history books, but the ordinary everyday pioneers from the early years of the colony were the backbone of our early development. The biographical posters and the artworks hang side by side in this collaborative exhibition.
Artworks in painting, pastel, mixed media, textiles, drawing, pen & ink, sculpture.
A 2021 History Month Exhibition.
