RSASA Characters of the Fleurieu 2020

This prestigious Art Prize is sponsored by the Kennedy Arts Foundation with a $10,000 acquisitive FIRST PRIZE.

The works in this exhibition feature the characters and characteristics that make the Fleurieu Peninsular so special and so loved.

The exhibition is now open at Goolwa’s Signal Point Gallery until the 6th September 2020.

This year’s judging panel were:

Ross Miller – Red Poles, McLaren Vale, owner

Glenn Ash – local artist

1st Prize – Kennedy Arts Foundation of $10,000 to Paul Whitehead (Practicing Member) for ‘Organic Man‘ (image right)

2nd Prize – RSASA of $2,000 to Peter Noble (FRSASA) for ‘Jess

3rd Prize – David Baker RSASA President’s award of $1,000 to Carol Bann for ‘Duke of Edinburgh

Campuscolor Prize of $500 to Malcolm Edward-Cole for ‘Middleton Sunday

ProLab Prize of $350 to Margaret Thomas for ‘Self Portrait, Drinking Champagne wearing Alannah Hill

Art Stretchers Prize of $100 to Cathie Noble (Practicing Member) for ‘Little Blue Where are You Going?
